Jordan Kennedy
Senior Coach / Owner
My name is Jordan and this will be my 23rd year at Flitecrew.
I am one of the head coaches and the co-founder of Flitecrew Infinity Cheerleading. I began at Flitecrew trampoline club at the age of 4 and competed internationally. Over my 15 year career, in my early years I won the title of Sussex champion 8 times. As I progressed I went on to win the title of National Champion 3 times, individually twice and synchro once. Along with Laurel, in 2016 we decided Cheerleading would be a fun programme to start up alongside trampolining. My focus slowly switched over to cheer and since then we have created 6 competition teams, competed all around the country and gained many trophies and banners. I have been involved with Flitecrew ever since I can remember, the opportunities it has given me have been endless and I am very proud of the Flitecrew family we have created!
Jessica Kennedy
Senior Coach / Owner
Hi, I’m Jessica and I am one of the head coaches of the Cheerleading division. I have been a part of Flitecrew for nearly 22 years having started my journey in trampoline at age 4, before I pursued my passion of dance at age 10. Over my 10 year career I have performed in many of London’s West End theatres, in Disneyland Paris and Spain. I began to coach cheer for Flitecrew and instantly found a love for the sport, especially the dance and performance element within the cheer world. I choreographed our Senior Pom team, who took 1st place internationally in Disneyland Paris. I have had so many amazing opportunities through my time at Flitecrew as both an athlete and coach, my aim is to pass on my knowledge and performance experience to help athletes grow in confidence and have fun in the crazy world of cheerleading!
Isa Mitchell
Coach
Laurel calls me a home grown athlete and coach. I joined Flitecrew trampolining in 2013 following in my sisters' footsteps and joined cheerleading when it started in 2015. I think that trampolining and cheerleading complement each other really well and I'm lucky that I can train in both sports here. With trampolining I am a national competitor and have gained my British Gymnastics Helper qualification and look forward to becoming a qualified coach. With cheerleading, I also compete and have a BGU Junior Coach qualification. As I started so young, Flitecrew is in my blood!
Kira Pickering
Level 2 Trampoline coach
I have been with Flitecrew since I was 9 years old and competed regionally and nationally in trampolining. I also competed for Flitecrew Infinity Cheerleading for 3 seasons. I loved my time as a performer for both trampolining and cheer so I decided to become a coach. I am a qualified level 2 trampoline coach and I have also started my level 3 qualification. I love being a coach and when a child learns a new skill, it really makes my day.
Emily Roche
Coach
Hi I’m Emily and I have been a member of Flitecrew for over 22 years joining at the age of 6. I was a competitive trampolinist until my early 20s, winning a number of Regional and National awards. I very much enjoyed my Trampolining career, and have now been coaching for 13 years starting at the age of 15 and I have been a qualified judge for 12 years. I am a passionate coach, and enjoying continuing on the Flitecrew Legacy.
Sophie Hilliard
Cheer Coach
I am a level 4 BGU qualified cheerleading coach. I am an ex gymnast who competed at regional level before switching to cheerleading over 6 years ago. I found a love for cheer because it is a team sport and fulfilled my love of dance, stunts and tumbling. I have taken a break from competing to study for my A levels, but I continue to coach alongside. I have also competed in many trampoline competitions representing Flitecrew.
Erin Macdonald
Coach/Judge
Hi, I’m Erin a long term gymnast, coach and judge for Flitecrew. I started as a performer competing in regional and National competitions at the age of 11. I began my coaching career at 14, taking my level 1 coaching qualification at the age of 16, and became a qualified level 3 coach by 19. My qualifications allow me to teach elite athletes multiple double somersaults which I thoroughly enjoy! I was also able to complete my first judging qualification alongside my coaching in order to help the club out at our younger performers competitions.
My favourite thing about Flitecrew is the family we created and how it continues to grow every day! 12 years on and my time at Flitecrew has only just started!
Angela Macdonald
Judge
Hi…. My name is Angela Macdonald and I am a Club Judge for Flitecrew. My daughter Erin started with the club in 2011, and instead of sitting on the sidelines, I get a better seat to watch her jump. I was a bit nervous at first, but the same with a gymnast, the more practice you do, the better you get at it. I have now been judging for 10 years, even though my daughter no longer jumps, I still like to keep my hand in at competitions, it keeps me up to date on any changes.
Danine Pickering
Flitecrew parents Association
The reason I joined the FPA is because my daughter Kira competed with Flitecrew for over 10 years! I am the fundraiser for the events that we do and love to sell a Raffle Ticket or two! I love organising, planning and getting involved so this was ideal for me to be a part of.
Lisa Ashton
Trampoline Judge
I am Lisa Ashton, I am a Flitecrew Club Trampoline Judge and Club Mum to my daughter who competes Regionally and Nationally for the Club. We have been members of Flitecrew since 2016. We both love the team spirit and friendships within the club.
Sally Dowell
Cheerleading Coach, Qualified level 1 & 2
Whilst I am fairly new to Cheer, I have coached for 30 years and my goals as a coach are simple; I want to be recognised as a role model who inspires & motivates athletes to be the best they can be. I want to influence my athletes to be confident, proud and passionate about cheer and their team. Winning competitions, trophies and titles is what we all aspire to, but nurturing talent, installing a good work ethic and being a great team player are the foundations I want to build along the way.
My Daughter Sadie joined Flitecrew 6 years ago, aged 4. She loves everything about Cheer and Trampoline and Flitecrew has become her second family. I am forever grateful for the opportunities the coaches, officers and club have given her.

Trish Mitchell
I joined Flitecrew as a parent in 2012 when my eldest daughter joined trampolining. The middle daughter joined shortly after with the youngest following a year later. When cheerleading began, the younger two added cheer to their activities. In the meantime, I became a trampoline judge and welfare officer for the club. My youngest is still at the club one decade later - we call her a homegrown athlete and coach! #flitecrewfamily
Hi I’m Angela, my daughter Alivia joined Flitecrew in 2021. Alivia did tryouts in 2022 and became part of a competition team. Recently she has joined Flitecrew trampolining too. I have now taken on the role of a welfare/safeguarding officer.
We are relatively new to Flitecrew, with my youngest daughter joining in 2021, followed by one of her older sisters in 2022. They quickly fell in love with all aspects of Flitecrew Cheer, then recently joined Trampolining too!
I have spent over a decade chaperoning backstage at dance competitions and shows, then I recently became part of the Flitecrew welfare team as a parent volunteer.
